Do I need reservations?
For a dinner cruise, absolutely! Our dinner cruises are catered, and we have a ticketing minimum that must be met 5 days prior to departure. If the minumum is not met then we will issue refunds.
For weddings and private charters, reservations are a must! Contact our event planner for booking availability and information at (928) 318-7802
Scenic tours on our jet boat, you do not need a reservation, but it is strongly recommended that you purchase a ticket (online or in person) as soon as possible to ensure your seat. We stop selling tickets 30 min before departures and are unable to accept last minute passengers.

Please note that our Event Office is staffed by crew and closes 30 mnutes before any departures.
Where are the boats located?
The Colorado King paddle-wheeler and River Queen are docked in the Fisher’s Landing lagoon. 10882 N. Fishers Landing Rd, Martinez Lake, AZ 85365

What time is boarding?
Boarding is 15 minutes prior to your departure time. If you booked scenic tour tickets online or over the phone, you still need to go to our Events Office to check in 30 to 45 minutes prior to boarding. The Events Office is located next to the rotunda by the Post Office.
Wedding parties and private charters may board 30 minutes prior to departure.
What is your cancellation policy?
Public Dinner Cruises:
No refunds. A minimum of 4 days notice is required to reschedule any pre-paid public dinner cruise. All no-shows or cancellations less than 4 days from departure date will not be refunded or credited.*
Public Elopements:
You have secured a reservation for your elopement, on a regularly scheduled public dinner cruise, at least 30 days out.**
- Notice of cancellation received more than 30 days prior to event will result in a refund of 50% of your total deposit.
- All no-shows or cancellations less than 30 days from departure date, your deposit will be forfeited.
- All cancellation requests must be made in writing and sent to lcrereservations@gmail.com. Please include your booking number, first and last name as well as your contact information.
Weddings and Private Charters:
In the event the agreement is canceled by you, you agree that we will have lost the opportunity to offer our services to others and will incur additional costs in attempting to book our services for the date reserved for your event. You agree that the exact amount of our damage will be difficult to determine. You agree that this liquidated damages clause in this agreement is a reasonable effort by you and us to agree in advance on the damages that we will suffer due to a cancellation. Therefore, you agree that should you cancel your event for any reason, you will pay as liquidated damages to us immediately upon notice of cancellation the following percentage of the total amount of our services for your event as follows:**
- Notice of cancellation received more than 60 days prior to event will result in a refund of 50% of your total deposit.
- If the cancelation occurs within 60 days or less from departure, your deposit will be forfeited, and you may accrue additional charges on your credit card if your cancelation is too close to the actual event date.
- All cancellation requests must be made in writing and sent to lcrereservations@gmail.com. Please include your booking number, first and last name as well as your contact information.
Sightseeing & Sunset Cruises:
All no-shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours will not be refunded or credited.

*Lower Colorado River Excursions reserves the right to cancel public dinner cruises if the minimum requirement of 15 ticketed passengers has not been met within 5 days prior to scheduled departure date. In the event that we have to cancel the cruise, you will receive a full refund.
We operate rain or shine; however Lower Colorado River Excursions LLC reserves the right to cancel a pending trip due to inclement/impending bad weather, including high winds deemed unsuitable for safe navigation. Your event will be given the utmost priority for rescheduling.
**If a cruise or tour that is in progress, encounters inclement weather while underway, forcing the boat to return to port early, I understand that LCRE will be unable to offer a refund. But at the Captains discretion, and with LCRE staff approval, the boat may remain chartered, and activities may be allowed to continue for the duration while docked in its home port. The parties agree to pay full price regardless of the fact that the function is held on-board dockside.
In the event the Colorado King paddle-wheeler is unable to leave the dock because of water conditions, weather conditions, mechanical failure or any other conditions beyond the control of Lower Colorado River Excursions, the function will take place as scheduled on board dockside. The parties agree to pay full price regardless of the fact that the function is held on-board dockside.
Is there a restroom on the boat?
Yes, the Colorado King paddle-wheeler has 1 unisex bathroom on board. The River Queen jet boat does not, although facilities are nearby at Fisher’s Landing.
Is the paddle boat wheelchair accessible?
Yes, but only the bottom deck of the Colorado River King is wheelchair accessible, however, we cannot accommodate power wheelchairs and/or scooters. We do not have staff trained to assist with wheelchair boarding or departures from the paddle-wheeler, you will need to provide your own assistance. The River Queen jet boat is not wheelchair accessible.
What is the dress code for the dinner cruise?
Yuma AZ is known for its laid-back atmosphere. Some guests may dress up as they are celebrating a special occasion, other guests will be in shorts and flip flops! Come as you feel comfortable! Please remember that Winter evenings in AZ can be quite cool and you should bring a jacket for all sunset and dinner cruises.
Can I bring on drinks and snacks?
We do not allow any outside food or beverage onboard, however we do have limited non-alcoholic beverages and snacks available for purchase aboard the paddle-wheeler. Purchases onboard are cash only.
Can I bring my dog aboard?
Bonified ADA service dogs are welcome and permitted. Emotional support animals and personal pets are not permitted aboard the vessels.
Do I have to wear a Life Vest?
Under most conditions, adults are not required to wear a life vest on the Colorado King. But if ordered by the captain, or issued by crew, you will be required to wear your USCG approved flotation device until the captain informs you that it’s safe to do otherwise.
Under USCG guidelines, children under 90 lbs. are required to wear a USCG approved life jacket while underway on our vessel.
Adults and or guardians are not permitted to allow or assist children under 90 lbs. with removal of their flotation device at any time while on a dock or underway.
Tipping
Boat crew gratuity is NOT included in public meal or sightseeing cruise ticket prices. All gratuities received throughout the cruises are split evenly amongst captain and boat crew, and are greatly appreciated.
The crew deep cleans and sets up bothe decks before and after every event, they strive to ensure that you have a safe and memorable cruise.
Elopements and chartered cruises are assessed a 15% gratuity.
