However, with the Captain’s discretion and LCRE staff approval, the vessel may remain chartered, allowing activities to continue dockside for the scheduled duration. All parties consent to pay the full price even if the event takes place on board while docked.

Furthermore, if the Colorado King paddle-wheeler cannot depart from the dock due to water levels, weather, mechanical failures, or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of LCRE, the event will proceed as planned on board dockside. All parties consent to pay the full price even if the event is held on board while docked.

Is there a restroom on the boat?

Indeed, the Colorado King paddle-wheeler is equipped with one unisex bathroom. In contrast, the Liberty jet boat lacks onboard facilities, but restrooms are available close by at Fisher’s Landing.

Is the paddle boat wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the Colorado River King’s bottom deck is wheelchair accessible, but we cannot accommodate power wheelchairs or scooters. Our staff is not trained to assist with wheelchair boarding or disembarking from the paddle-wheeler; guests must arrange their own assistance. What is the dress code for the dinner cruise?

Yuma, AZ, is celebrated for its relaxed ambiance. While some guests may dress up for special occasions, others might be in shorts and flip-flops. Dress in whatever makes you comfortable! Keep in mind that winter evenings in Arizona can get quite chilly, so it’s advisable to bring a jacket for sunset and dinner cruises, especially if you opt for open deck seating.

Can I bring on drinks and snacks?

Glass containers, outside food, and beverages are not permitted onboard; however, a selection of non-alcoholic drinks and snacks is available for purchase on the paddle-wheeler. Please note that we only accept cash for onboard purchases.

Can I bring my dog aboard?

Certified ADA service dogs are welcome and allowed on board. However, emotional support animals and personal pets are not permitted on the vessels.

Do I have to wear a Life Vest?

Under normal circumstances, adults are not obliged to wear a life vest aboard the Colorado King. However, if the captain or crew directs, you must wear one of our USCG-approved flotation devices until notified it’s safe to remove it. We provide life vests for adults and children over 40 lbs. as mandated by the USCG.

According to USCG regulations, infants and children under 40 lbs. must wear a USCG-approved life jacket while on a commercial vessel. Life jackets for infants or children under 40 lbs. are not supplied by us; it is your responsibility to bring your own.

Adults or guardians are prohibited from removing or helping children under 40 lbs. remove their flotation devices at any time while on the boarding dock or during the voyage.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – Due to the varying sizes and shapes of infants and children, the U.S. Coast Guard and PFD manufacturers recommend testing PFDs immediately after purchase. It is advised to conduct this test in a swimming pool.

Tipping

Gratuities for the boat crew are not included in the ticket prices for public meal or sightseeing cruises. All tips collected during the cruises are evenly distributed between the captain and the crew members, and are highly appreciated.

The crew thoroughly cleans and prepares both decks before and after each event, working diligently to provide a safe and unforgettable cruising experience.

A 15% gratuity is added for elopements and private chartered cruises.
