SEASONAL HELP – YUMA AZ
Join our team for the season. We’re hiring part‑time crew members for dock support, concessions, and tour‑related projects. These positions are perfect for first‑time job seekers, retirees, or anyone who enjoys spending time by the Colorado River. Our tour season operates from November through March.
Dockhand (MMC not required):
- This part‑time role involves working approximately 5–6 hours per day on scheduled cruise days. Responsibilities include performing minor dock and vessel maintenance, loading and unloading supplies, setting up and cleaning buffet and table areas, and assisting with dock lines.
Concessions:
- Current Summer Schedule: Part-time, Friday & Saturday nights, serving a limited menu to the public from 6 PM – 2 AM.
- Upcoming Fall Transition: Starting in November, when our dinner cruises resume, the schedule will shift to daytime hours, operating five days a week (Wednesday – Sunday). Approximately 6 hours a day.
- Responsibilities: Duties in the Fall will include preparing meals for our buffet, setting up the onboard buffet, and loading food and supplies as needed.

MASTER BOAT CAPTAINS WANTED – YUMA AZ
Lower Colorado River Excursions is located the Lower River and operates out of Fisher’s Landing Marina at Martinez Lake, AZ.
We are seeking experienced boat captains to helm our 52-passenger Paddle Wheeler and the Liberty Jet Boat. This is a seasonal, part-time position from October to April each year. Our passenger manifests are consistently at capacity, with strong bookings every week throughout the season.
The position is ideally suited for semi-retired captains. We are looking for candidates who can engage with passengers in a friendly manner. Applicants must be experienced, personable, and dependable.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Current USCG Master Captain License 50 ton
• Minimum 5 years’ experience
• Proven experience and knowledge of boating operation and safety, river navigation is a plus
• Flexible schedule, applicant must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekend
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• References required

OUPV/SIXPACK BOAT CAPTAINS WANTED – YUMA AZ
Lower Colorado River Excursions operates along one of the most scenic stretches of the Colorado River, based at Fisher’s Landing Marina on Martinez Lake. We are currently accepting applications from experienced boat captains to operate our TowboatUS towboat.
This is an on‑call position, and because rapid response to dispatches is essential, applicants must reside locally on a full‑time or part‑time basis. Candidates living in the Fortuna Foothills area will also be considered.
We’re looking for captains who bring not only strong maritime experience, but also professionalism, dependability, and a personable approach to guest and boater interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Current USCG OUPV/SixPack with Towing Endorsement
• Minimum 3 years’ boating experience
• Proven experience and knowledge of boating operation and safety, river navigation is a plus
